About Pat

Pat Leyland is a partner at Taylor Oballa Murray Leyland LLP, where he has practiced since the firm's founding in 2006. Before turning to law, he spent time as a guitarist and co-writer in a rock band signed to Arista Records, and he has stayed connected to the music industry for more than 25 years. His practice covers intellectual property and corporate/commercial law, with particular emphasis on drafting, reviewing and negotiating music industry contracts. He regularly speaks at educational institutions and industry events and serves on the boards of several not-for-profit organizations.
