About Sarah

Sarah is a partner at Taylor Oballa Murray Leyland LLP focused on music and entertainment law. Since joining the firm in 2016, she has built a practice representing artists and music companies at every stage of their careers, offering pragmatic, strategic support across the industry. A classically trained violinist, she draws on that background in her work with the creative community. Sarah holds an Honours B.Sc. in Mathematics & Statistics from McMaster University and a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she served as a caseworker with the Innocence Project and Innocence Canada. She now speaks and mentors for organizations including Canada's Music Incubator, Honey Jam, and Women In Music Canada.
