She graduated in law from the Université de Montréal and was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 1992, and practises mainly in civil litigation and insurance and civil liability law, defending professionals and manufacturers and advising and representing life, health and property insurance companies before courts of every jurisdiction. She holds a master's degree in dispute prevention and resolution from the Université de Sherbrooke, and is an accredited mediator and arbitrator in civil and commercial matters and a member of the Institut de médiation et d'arbitrage du Québec and the Institut d'arbitrage et de médiation du Canada. She advises clients on regulatory compliance when bringing insurance products to market, has served for nearly 15 years on a Barreau de Montréal committee, is currently an investigating member of the Barreau du Québec's indemnity fund, and mediates small-claims matters at the Cour du Québec. As the firm's mentor for articling students, she says she believes in mentorship and enjoys contributing to the development of young lawyers.
