About Cynthia

Cynthia Brunet began her career at a national law firm after her admission to the Barreau du Québec in 2014, then moved to a regional firm to practise civil and commercial litigation. She developed a particular interest in the construction and real estate industries, including regulatory and penal matters before bodies such as the RBQ, CNESST and CCQ, and at Donati Maisonneuve she concentrates on construction law, real estate law and insurance law. She has been active with the Barreau du Québec's work-family conciliation committee, was elected to the board of the Jeune Barreau de Montréal in 2016 and chaired several of its committees, sits on the liaison committee between the Barreau de Montréal and the Cour supérieure's commercial chamber, and was named a Governor for the next generation of the Fondation du Barreau du Québec in January 2019. She describes herself as fully bilingual.
