About Pantea
Pantea Samei is an Associate Lawyer with a varied background and a focus on Canadian immigration and refugee law. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Toronto Metropolitan University, formerly Ryerson University, and earned her law degree from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. Before becoming a lawyer she volunteered with the Toronto Distress Centre supporting people in crisis and worked as a stem cell researcher at the Ross Tilley Burn Centre at Sunnybrook Research Institute. She has represented clients before all divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board, before Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, before the Federal Court and before the Superior Court of Justice, and she also has experience in personal injury and family law. Pantea was called to the Ontario bar in 2020, belongs to the Refugee Lawyers' Association, and is fluent in English and Farsi.
