About Oscar

Oscar Rodriguez-Pacanins is an international partner who manages WMR's Montreal office and leads the firm's business and Latin American practice. He has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2010 and was previously admitted to the bar in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1995. His practice centers on corporate law, contracts, business immigration, and civil and commercial litigation. Originally from Venezuela, he draws on his own immigration experience to guide clients through unfamiliar legal, institutional and cultural systems, often serving as both legal counsel and cultural interpreter. He holds a law degree (Abogado) from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from the University of Leicester, and completed graduate studies in public and constitutional law at Université Panthéon-Assas in Paris.
