About Qiu

Qiu Di Guo practises immigration law, focused on business immigration, work permits and international mobility for corporate clients. She helps companies manage the hiring, retention and compliance obligations associated with foreign workers in Canada, guiding employers and their international employees through administrative systems with strict documentation and compliance requirements. Having immigrated from China, she draws on her own experience navigating a different legal and administrative system to help clients understand Canadian regulatory expectations. She also works on business law and litigation matters connected to immigration and employment issues. She holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) and Juris Doctor (JD) from McGill University, was called to the Ontario bar in 2020 and to the Barreau du Québec in 2019, and is a member of the Quebec Association of Immigration Lawyers (AQAADI) and the Canadian Bar Association.
