About Norman

Norman Bosse has practised litigation and administrative law in New Brunswick since 1985. He began as a partner at Clark, Drummie & Co. in Saint John before joining McInnes Cooper, where he built experience in complex litigation, and served as counsel to survivors of sexual abuse at Kingsclear Youth Training School in the Miller Inquiry. From 2013 to 2022 he served as New Brunswick's Child and Youth and Seniors Advocate. He was appointed King's Counsel in 2008, and in 2021 his alma mater, Saint Thomas University, gave him the Carolyn Layden-Stevenson Distinguished Alumni Award. Since 2022 he has served as Senior Defence Counsel with the Law Society of New Brunswick and was named to the Society's Council in 2026. Before practising law he served with the US Army's 2nd Infantry Division during the Vietnam War era and later taught school in Sussex, New Brunswick.
