Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionKelly VanBuskirk practises labour and employment, administrative, human rights, and litigation law, and has more than 30 years in the field. He holds an LLB from the University of New Brunswick, an LLM in Employment Law from the University of Huddersfield in the UK, and a PhD in Employment Law from Nottingham Trent University in the UK, along with further certificates in employment law mediation from Cornell University and restorative justice from Simon Fraser University. He is a King's Counsel and Chartered Arbitrator, and has provided workplace training to more than 10,000 employees across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. He has taught employment law, labour law, and related courses at UNB Law School, UNB's Faculty of Business, UNB's Faculty of Arts, and St. Thomas University, and his research appears in a book and several legal journals including the Canadian Bar Review and the Canadian Labour & Employment Law Journal. He received the E. Neil McKelvey Award for Pro Bono Service and the UNB Faculty of Business Teaching Excellence Award.
