About Nikos
Nikos Harris, K.C., is counsel at Peck and Company and a practiced appellate lawyer who has appeared numerous times before the British Columbia Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. He received his LL.B. from the University of British Columbia in 1995 and was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1997. He served as a judicial clerk at the British Columbia Court of Appeal and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2018. Harris is a lecturer at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law, teaching introductory criminal law, evidence, and advanced criminal procedure, and has written extensively on criminal law and evidence topics including Charter remedies, jury instructions, and evidence in appellate proceedings.
