About Nicole

Nicole Merrick practices corporate and commercial law, privacy law, and intellectual property and technology matters, including copyrights, trademarks, domain names and patent licensing, and is a registered trademark agent. She was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2002 after earning her LL.B. and B.A. with distinction from the University of Manitoba. Nicole is a past chairperson of the Manitoba Bar Association Women Lawyers Forum and serves on its executive, and is President of Beyond Borders ECPAT Canada, a charity advocating against child sexual abuse. Early in her career she volunteered with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Bangkok, Thailand.
