About Nicola

Nicola is a Partner in the Halifax office of Cox & Palmer, focusing on litigation and employment and labour law. She advises clients on contract disputes, property and construction litigation, and commercial claims, along with a broad range of employment matters, and has appeared before all levels of court in Nova Scotia and various administrative tribunals. She has represented clients in mediations and arbitrations, and guides employers and employees through terminations and the negotiation of severance packages, including non-competition and non-solicitation agreements. She is past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association's Administrative Law Section in Nova Scotia and formerly served as a national Practice Leader in The Advocates' Society's Construction Law and Employment Law Practice Groups.
