About Nicholas

Nicholas Hébert-Gauthier joined DWF's insurance and civil litigation group in 2022. He built relationships with the firm's clients while completing his École du Barreau articling period there, and continues to support colleagues on a wide range of files, including drafting proceedings and legal opinions, negotiating settlements, and appearing in court. Hébert-Gauthier holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in life sciences and law from the Université de Sherbrooke, earned in 2021 and 2022 respectively, and was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 2022. He sits on the executive committee of the Canadian Bar Association's Québec Division, covering its Administrative Law and Constitutional and Human Rights sections, and has co-authored several published pieces on municipal and health law topics.
