About Nathan

Nate Martin practises corporate and commercial law, real estate, and succession planning out of SV Law's Elora office. He advises entrepreneurs, family businesses, agricultural operations, investors, and professionals on buying and selling businesses, corporate reorganizations, shareholder arrangements, commercial deals, and long-term strategic planning, with particular focus on farm and agricultural clients, helping them plan for succession, transfer the business between generations, and manage intricate real estate deals. He also advises individuals and families on structuring the transition of wealth and business interests. Nate earned his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a B.A. (Hons.) with distinction from the University of Guelph, and during law school he took part in an exchange at the University of Otago in New Zealand and interned with the Nigerian Bar Association in Abuja. He was called to the bar in 2013 and belongs to the Wellington County Law Association, the Law Society of Ontario, and the Ontario Bar Association.
