About Nancy

Nancy's practice focuses on family law and wills and estates, and she also assists the firm with small claims court and civil litigation matters. During law school at the University of Ottawa, she completed two internships with a small Ottawa family law firm before joining DK Law, where she continued working part-time as a law student throughout her studies. She was a peer mentor in the Peer Mentor and Allies in Law programs for first-year law students. Before law school, she studied legal studies and business at the University of Waterloo, completing a co-op program with placements at an e-commerce start-up, a marketing software start-up, and the university's Legal, Immigration and International Services departments. She earned her BA from Waterloo with distinction in 2020 and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Ottawa in 2023, and joined DK Law as a lawyer after being called to the bar in 2024. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the County of Carleton Law Association.
