As a law student, she volunteered with the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and wrote for her school's Human Rights Law Newsletter, and before her legal career she worked as a fundraiser for a non-profit, at a housing support centre, and running a local food bank. After being called to the bar in 2025, Nadia practised civil litigation and employment law at a firm in the Niagara Region. She holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from McMaster University and a Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC.
