About Nadia
Nadia Ahmed practises employment, labour, and human rights law in Hamilton and across southwestern Ontario, including Brantford, Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph. Raised in Hamilton as the daughter of a retired steelworker and union member, she has been involved in social justice and labour rights advocacy since a young age. As a law student, she volunteered with the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and wrote for her school's Human Rights Law Newsletter, and before her legal career she worked as a fundraiser for a non-profit, at a housing support centre, and running a local food bank. After being called to the bar in 2025, Nadia practised civil litigation and employment law at a firm in the Niagara Region. She holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from McMaster University and a Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC.
