About Liane
A partner in the firm's Toronto Environmental Law Group and co-leader of the firm's ESG Advisory Services practice, Liane Langstaff has a unique blend of education and experience in environmental sciences, business and law. She has represented clients in high profile environmental litigation, including representing the Canadian Public Health Association on the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act constitutional cases before the Supreme Court of Canada. She frequently guides municipalities and businesses on assessments of major infrastructure, energy and mining projects under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act and the federal Impact Assessment Act, and co-authored A Guide to the Impact Assessment Act (2020 Edition).
