About Murray

Murray Clemens is a sought-after mediator and arbitrator with more than forty years of experience in civil and commercial litigation and administrative law. He has appeared before all Superior Courts of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of Canada, and has served as arbitrator or panel member in more than 100 commercial disputes across sectors including construction, mining, forestry, and franchising. He was called to the British Columbia bar in 1976 and holds an LL.B. from Queen's University and a B.A. from the University of Toronto. Clemens was appointed King's Counsel in 1993 and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is a listed arbitrator with the Canada Transportation Agency and has written and presented on litigation support and international arbitration.
