About Moora

Moora Paw's profile lists her practice areas as still to be determined. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria, along with a Juris Doctor in common law and a Juris Indigenarum Doctor, also from the University of Victoria. Before law school she worked with a local homeless shelter, where she developed a deeper understanding of the systemic discrimination and racism experienced by Indigenous peoples in Canada. She immigrated from Thailand to Canada in 2014 and is a first-generation immigrant and the first Karen (K'nyaw) person to attend law school in Canada. She describes herself as committed to fostering legal spaces that are respectful, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of the people they serve.
