About Monica
Monica Creery works as a research lawyer within the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group at Goodmans. Her practice involves complex litigation matters that call for careful analysis and creative problem solving. She builds arguments and prepares submissions for cases at every court level, and drafts advisory memoranda and legal opinions. She has helped represent both private and public sector clients in disputes touching on corporate, commercial, contract, insolvency, and administrative law, including class actions certified over securities and product liability claims. Monica also trains the firm's articling students and junior associates in legal research and writing, and has contributed to internal and external training programs as well as client communications. She co-authored the contract law update for the Law Society of Ontario's Civil Appeals: The Year in Review in 2018, and the class action update for the same publication in 2015.
