Administrative & Regulatory LawMick works with clients on corporate and commercial disputes, shareholder and minority oppression claims, insurance coverage, tax matters, property and family disputes, construction disputes, and employment litigation. He has represented provincial, national, and international corporations, as well as former Canadian Prime Ministers, and is admitted pro hac vice in California and Georgia. Mick earned his LLM from the University of London in 1972 and his LLB from Dalhousie University in 1971, along with a BComm from Saint Mary's University in 1969. He was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 1972 and the New Brunswick bar in 2008, and holds the King's Counsel designation, awarded in 1988. He chairs the Sport Dispute Resolution Council of Canada and has received the Canadian Bar Association's Louis St-Laurent Award of Excellence. He has been recognized in Chambers and Partners and Best Lawyers for construction law and director and officer liability.
