About Michiko

Michiko Gartshore is an Associate in the firm's Employment & Labour, Professional Regulation and General Litigation groups, called to the New Brunswick bar in 2023. As an Indigenous lawyer with a background in business and finance, she handles human rights complaints, wrongful dismissal and employment disputes, and matters involving workplace discrimination, accommodation, and harassment. Gartshore also acts for regulatory bodies in investigations and discipline proceedings, and works with clients to develop workplace policies. She holds a JD and a BBA from the University of New Brunswick, and previously served as President of the Indigenous Law Student Association.
