About Michelle

Michelle Vinitsky is a litigator with a dual focus on insurance defence and subrogation. Her insurance defence work covers motor vehicle accident claims, slip-and-fall incidents, and other personal injury matters, while her subrogation practice represents insurers in cases involving fire losses, flooding, and construction deficiencies. Early in her career, Michelle handled a Small Claims Court trial where she cross-examined police witnesses and won the case, resulting in a dismissal; she has also served as second chair on a Superior Court trial that ended in dismissal. Michelle holds a BSc with Honours from York University and a J.D. from the University of Windsor, and she is a member of Canadian Defence Lawyers and The Advocates' Society.
