About Cory

Cory Young has been a partner at BPB LLP since 2022, concentrating on insurance defence and complex liability work. His practice covers personal injury, construction deficiencies, product liability, and professional negligence claims, along with infrastructure-related disputes, for clients that include telecommunications companies and commercial enterprises facing property damage and construction issues. He has represented clients in matters before the Federal Court of Appeal, Ontario's Divisional Court, the Superior Court, Small Claims Court, and several administrative tribunals. Cory joined BPB LLP in 2019 after several years at a Toronto insurance defence firm, and mentors junior lawyers at BPB. He received his J.D. from Queen's University in 2012, after completing an Honours B.A. in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario.
