About Alanna

Alanna Marchese is an associate at BPB LLP who joined the firm as an articling student in 2020 and stayed on after her call to the bar. Her practice has grown around motor vehicle accident claims, occupiers' liability, slip-and-fall cases, property damage and assault-related matters, and she is expanding further into civil and sexual assault claims. She appears regularly before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and has built her practice on diligent motion work and courtroom preparation. In one notable file, Belair Insurance v. Edwards, she succeeded in overturning a default judgment to restore her client's right to defend the claim. Alanna holds an Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto and a J.D. from the University of Windsor.
