About Michelle

Michelle M. Tobin is a partner at W Law who practices primarily in commercial and agricultural financing, collections, insolvency and restructuring. She has represented lenders in major agricultural and commercial financings, work-out strategies and bankruptcy proceedings, and serves as general counsel to a chartered bank on security and collection matters for Saskatchewan agricultural operations. Her experience includes restructurings under the CCAA and BIA, receiverships, and large loan-structuring projects. She is a member of the Saskatchewan Bankruptcy Practice Committee and Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan and has been recognized by Best Lawyers. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan in 1985 and her Bachelor of Laws from the same university in 1988, and was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 1989.
