About Michael

Michael Puchniak's corporate and commercial law practice includes advising businesses on structure, growth, and corporate governance, as well as acquisitions, dispositions, and various contractual arrangements, including shareholder, partnership, joint venture, and purchase and sale agreements. Michael advises lenders and borrowers on domestic loan transactions involving office, retail, multi-tenant residential, and industrial properties, along with personal property security, and has experience acting for mining operators and lenders during the due diligence phase of mining project development and financing. Michael was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2009 and earned an LL.B. from the University of Manitoba in 2008. Michael has co-authored material on security documents for lenders and borrowers during COVID-19 and has presented at the Canada/Manitoba Business Service Centre and the Rotary Career Symposium.
