About Michael

Michael Moll is a partner at Civic Legal LLP with over 17 years of experience advising and representing local governments. He maintains a mixed solicitor and litigation practice focused on local government land use, development, finance, and bylaw regulation and enforcement, and regularly assists local governments with property taxes, tax sale matters, elections, highways, construction disputes, and expropriation. He is a frequent speaker at local government conferences, including those hosted by the Planning Institute of British Columbia and the Government Finance Officers Association of BC. In 2014 he obtained a Master of Laws degree, writing his thesis on the municipal regulation of business. Before pursuing law, he studied economics and worked in procurement for a telecommunications company in Germany.
