About Daniel

Daniel MacNeill practices family law exclusively and first became interested in the area during a law school semester at Rise Women's Legal Centre, where he later articled and continues to volunteer. He operated his own firm, Thakur MacNeill LLP, representing Legal Aid clients, and later worked at a mid-size Downtown Vancouver firm serving high-net-worth clients. He has appeared frequently in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and favours a settlement-oriented approach, turning to negotiation and mediation to de-escalate conflict where possible.
