Civic Legal LLP is a Vancouver law firm founded in 2016 by Pam Jefcoat and Sonia Sahota to give local governments and other public bodies in British Columbia steady legal advice on the issues that come with running a municipality. The firm works from an office on West Hastings Street in downtown Vancouver and marked ten years in practice in March 2026. Its lawyers focus on local government, real estate development, and construction law, advising municipalities, regional districts, owners, builders, and developers from the early stages of a project through to completion.

Jefcoat, the firm's managing partner, holds a law degree from the University of Victoria (2000) and has more than 24 years of combined experience in local government and commercial real estate law. Sahota worked as a professional engineer for 10 years before earning a law degree from UBC (2005), a background that grounds the firm's construction and procurement advice in the technical side of a project as well as the legal side. Partner Michael Moll has advised local governments for more than 17 years, with a mixed solicitor and litigation practice covering land use, development, finance, and bylaw enforcement. The firm's lawyers present regularly to local government audiences at conferences hosted by groups such as the Local Government Management Association and the Government Finance Officers Association of BC, and Jefcoat has appeared as a guest speaker on planning law at Capilano University.
