About Karen

Karen Redmond is the founder of Redmond Family Law and practises family law on the North Shore of Vancouver, with a current focus on mediation. After twenty years of courtroom litigation, she shifted her emphasis toward facilitating collaborative conversations tailored to each family's needs. She has experience with complex personal and corporate finances, division of property and debt, income determination disputes, spousal support claims, and guardianship of children. Karen received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia, and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2004. She is an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia teaching family law and serves on boards supporting families going through separation and divorce.
