About Michael
Michael McChesney joined Flaherty McCarthy LLP after completing his articling there and focuses on insurance defence work involving motor vehicle accident tort claims and statutory accident benefit disputes. He has represented insurance companies before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Small Claims Court, and has handled numerous matters before the Licence Appeal Tribunal. He earned an Honours degree in Philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2012 and graduated from the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law in 2016, and he was called to the Ontario bar in 2017.
