About Emily
Emily Siu maintains a broad litigation practice built on a foundation in insurance defence and labour and employment law. She has appeared before the Divisional Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Licence Appeal Tribunal and Small Claims Court, representing employers, employees, and domestic and international insurers at mediations, hearings and motions. Her caseload has ranged from employment disputes to claims involving sexual assault, property damage, product liability and motor vehicle accidents. In her employment practice, Emily works with employment counsel and multinational employers across Canada on matters including hiring and terminations, employment contracts and policies, human rights, executive compensation, and workplace accommodations. She frequently speaks and gives interviews on employment law developments. Emily was called to the Ontario bar in 2019 after earning her J.D. from Queen's University Faculty of Law, and also holds an M.A. and a B.A. with high distinction from the University of Toronto.
