About Michael

Michael Keyes is a partner at Warren Sinclair LLP practising in administrative law, estate law, and employment law. Michael has appeared before municipal Subdivision and Development Appeal Boards and serves as external general counsel to a number of organizations, advising on policy development and enforcement. Michael's estate practice focuses on reducing litigation risk in will preparation and probate, and includes advising and representing employers on human rights, employment standards, and termination-related matters. Michael earned a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Saskatchewan in 1989, and previously completed a diploma in Architectural Engineering Technology from the Saskatchewan Technical Institute. Michael has served on the boards of the Red Deer Youth and Volunteer Centre, the Kerry Wood Nature Centre, and the Foundation for Red Deer Public Schools, and received the Red Deer Public Schools 'Friends of Education' award in 2017.
