About Michael

Michael Drake grew up in Windsor and earned an Honours B.A. in Economics from the University of Windsor in 1995, followed by an LL.B. in 1998. Drake joined the firm in the fall of 1999 and became a partner in 2005, practising personal injury, motor vehicle accident and sexual abuse claims, civil litigation, insurance defence, family law, wills and estates, and employment law. Drake is a longtime director of the Essex Law Association (President 2007-2008) and instructs continuing education at St. Clair College. Drake has served the Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex County in several roles including President, been a Rotary Club of Windsor member and past club President, and sat on the board of the Alzheimer's Society of Windsor Essex from 2022 to 2024. Drake received the 2022 Ontario Volunteer Service Award.
