Jennifer Simpson Rooke was born in Waterloo, Ontario, and admitted to the Ontario bar in 2006, holding an Honours B.A. in Sociology and Criminology (2002) and an LL.B. (2005), both from the University of Windsor. She practises family law, serves as an agent for the federal Director of Public Prosecutions and a Family Responsibility Office panel lawyer, and formerly acted as counsel for the Windsor-Essex Children's Aid Society. She offers services in English and French. She is a past president of the Essex Law Association, first vice-chair of the Federation of Ontario Law Associations, president of the John Howard Society of Windsor-Essex County, and a sessional instructor at the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law, where she received the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2022. She belongs to the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Essex Law Association.
