About Michael
Michael was called to the bar in 1998 and practices plaintiff personal injury litigation, family law, and wills and estates. Before his call, he worked as a clerk and student at Levinter & Levinter from 1990 to 1996 while completing a B.A. in History at the University of Ottawa and an LL.B. at the University of Alberta, then articled at the same firm before joining as a lawyer. He joined Gary Will's team in 2015. His practice covers motor vehicle accident claims, occupier's liability matters, and first-party accident benefits claims for insured clients, and he has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario as well as before the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board's Appeals Tribunal. He has contributed to continuing legal education programs for the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, presenting on topics like cross-examining expert witnesses.
