About Michael

Michael A. van Bodegom maintains a broad corporate and commercial litigation practice with particular strength in construction disputes, municipal litigation, insolvency, and employment law. He appears before every level of the Ontario courts as well as federal, provincial, and municipal tribunals, and advises several of the Waterloo Region's leading construction companies. He also represents municipalities and public boards across Waterloo Region and Southern Ontario, with a focus on expropriation proceedings, tendering disputes, and challenges to municipal by-laws and resolutions. He earned an undergraduate degree in economics from Wilfrid Laurier University and a law degree from the University of Toronto, was called to the bar in 1997, and practised at a prominent Hamilton firm before joining Duncan, Linton LLP in 1999.
