About Ashon

Ashon L. Simpson was called to the bar in 2019 and joined Duncan, Linton LLP as an associate in 2022, after previously practising employment law at a Toronto firm dedicated to that area. He focuses his practice on employment law, construction law, and commercial litigation, acting for both management and employees, and has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, and the Canadian Human Rights Commission, along with extensive mediation and dispute resolution work. Raised in Mississauga, he earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in criminology with a minor in sociology from the University of Toronto in 2015 and a Juris Doctorate from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2018, where he volunteered with the Osgoode Mediation Clinic and Pro Bono Students of Canada. In his free time, Ashon enjoys trail cycling and reading science fiction.
