About Micah
Micah Clark's practice has a dual focus on Indigenous and regulatory litigation and modern treaty implementation, and he has been recognized in recent editions of the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading practitioner in Aboriginal law. He has appeared before various levels of court across Canada, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and in modern treaty dispute resolution processes and before administrative tribunals such as the British Columbia Environmental Appeal Board. His recent matters include representing a modern treaty nation before the Yukon Supreme Court in a mining and land use dispute, and acting for an Indigenous party in setting aside an injunction over land within its traditional and modern treaty territory. He assists treaty governments with legislation and policy development and has appeared before the Senate Standing Committee on Aboriginal Peoples on treaty implementation issues. He was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2010, the Yukon in 2017, and Nunavut in 2021.
