About Meredith
Meredith Harper practices insurance defence litigation and maintains an active appellate practice, having argued before the Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and handled leave applications to the Supreme Court of Canada. She began her career at a high-profile plaintiff personal injury firm before shifting to defence work, and now represents clients in complex matters at all levels of court, before administrative tribunals, and in private arbitrations. Her practice includes defending allegations of sexual assault and wrongful dismissal claims, along with a wide range of auto and non-auto defence files. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2011 after earning her LL.B. from the University of Windsor and a B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from Dalhousie University. Meredith is a member of the Advocates' Society and Canadian Defence Lawyers, and regularly speaks on trial and hearing practice as well as substantive law.
