About Menachem

Menachem Freedman is a lawyer at HHBG Lawyers practising employment, human rights, and labour law, assisting clients through contract negotiation, workplace investigations, bullying and harassment, and dismissal matters, as well as representing unions in labour arbitrations and before labour relations boards. Before joining HHBG, he worked for non-profits on grassroots advocacy in Montreal and refugee rights arguments for the Israeli High Court, clerked at the Quebec Court of Appeal, and articled for Ontario's Information and Privacy Commissioner. Menachem graduated with multiple awards from McGill's bilingual law faculty and was valedictorian of his undergraduate class at Concordia University. He has volunteered with the BC Civil Liberties Association on surveillance and religious discrimination challenges.
