She assisted lead counsel Philip Prowse on ES v Shillington, which established a new privacy tort in Alberta for the public disclosure of private facts, and was later lead counsel in Grummett v Warholik, obtaining substantial damages for a victim of image-based abuse. She was also lead counsel in Colenutt v Colenutt, successfully defending against the recognition of an independent tort of family violence in Alberta. She is a former president of the Alberta Expropriation Association.
