Courtroom experience arrived before graduation. During a final year at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic, Praught argued submissions before the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia and co-represented a tenant in Bluenose Inn and Suites v. McGuire.

Guelph is home. Praught's interest in advocacy took hold during the Justice Studies program at the University of Guelph-Humber. Off the clock, you'll find Praught writing and performing music, cooking, or out with family, friends and a dog named Scout.
