About Meagan

Meagan Patry practices in land use planning, expropriation, and real estate, having worked in these areas since being called to the bar in 2017. Before joining Mathany and Higgs Law, Meagan articled and worked as an associate at one of Canada's largest law firms. That work focuses on private arbitrations, civil litigation, and expropriation litigation, representing both private landowners and public authorities. Meagan has appeared before the Federal Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal, Divisional Court, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Land Tribunal, and has assisted municipalities at Hearings of Necessity. Memberships include the International Right of Way Association, the Ontario Expropriation Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association.
