About Maureen
Maureen Baird is Senior Counsel at Fraser Litigation Group with 35 years of experience and recognized expertise in administrative law. Baird began as a law clerk to the Chief Justice of the BC Court of Appeal, then became a partner at major Vancouver firms, and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2011. Baird advises tribunals, regulators and individuals on regulatory governance matters, with experience in tribunal hearings and trial and appellate work at all court levels including the Supreme Court of Canada, and holds board appointments including the Environmental Appeal Board and the Civil Resolution Tribunal. Baird has authored articles on administrative law and mentors young lawyers.
