About Matthew
Matthew Ritchie's practice covers a broad range of commercial real estate work, including deals involving industrial, retail, office, hospitality, long-term care, mixed-use and development properties, spanning acquisitions, dispositions, financings and both landlord- and tenant-side leasing. He also works on insolvency and restructuring matters and the real estate aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Matthew joined the firm's Real Estate Group as an associate in 2014 after completing his articles, during which he was seconded to Royal Bank of Canada's Canadian Banking Group. He graduated from the Juris Doctor program at Osgoode Hall Law School, receiving the Dominic Carinci Memorial Prize for academic performance in Business Associations and Real Estate Transactions, and holds a B.Comm. from the University of Windsor.
