About Matt

Matt Benson is Cunningham Swan's associate managing partner and a partner in its business law group. He advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, corporate structuring and governance, financing transactions, and shareholder agreements, acting for vendors, purchasers, and lenders in asset and share transactions. He studied psychology at Queen's University before earning his LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 2008, and gained experience with a national law firm in Toronto before returning to Kingston. He is president of Sustainable Kingston.
