About Mathilde

Mathilde Sauvé practises family law litigation at Goldwater Droit, covering divorce, custody and parenting arrangements, support, the partition of assets, and matters involving domestic violence, alongside civil law and animal law files. In her final year of law school she worked at a non-profit focused on domestic violence and family law, assisting survivors and updating the organization's family-law reference manual. She also advised clients through Pro Bono Students Canada during her LL.B. at the Université de Montréal and worked in the legal department of the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges corporation. Sauvé joined Goldwater Droit's articling program in March 2023 and was called to the Quebec Bar in 2025. She volunteers as a family law lawyer with the YWCA Montreal and works in French and English.
