About Mathew
Mathew Rago is an associate at KMB Law working within the firm's employment and labour law group. His practice covers a broad range of workplace matters, including contractor and employment agreements, terminations, accommodation, restrictive covenants, and human rights issues. He advises both employers and employees, and favours proactive strategies that help clients avoid disputes before they arise. When conflicts do occur, Mathew represents clients before Ontario courts and tribunals, including the Superior Court of Justice, the Human Rights Tribunal, and the Ontario Labour Relations Board. In 2021 he obtained a workplace investigation certification from the Human Resources Professionals Association and now conducts impartial investigations into harassment and misconduct complaints. He earned his LL.B. from the University of Sussex in 2016 and a B.A. from York University in 2012, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2018.
